Emma Frankham is a Ph.D candidate in the Department of Sociology, University of Wisconsin–Madison. Originally from Leicester, England, Emma’s research focuses on mental illness, policing, and incarceration in the United States.
Her research has been published in Stigma and Health, Contexts, and The Sociological Quarterly. Beginning Fall 2018 she will be a Graduate Research Fellow at the Institute for Research on Poverty.
She has taught on the topics of criminal law, policing, incarceration, and community-engaged research.
